Boncan: Digitally establishing Cordilleran culture, CSDA launches new Website

One of the best ways for a company to establish its digital presence is through an online website, allowing easy access for anyone across the globe. On July 24th, the Cordillera School of Digital Arts, Inc. (CSDA) recently launched their website.

The CSDA website presents itself with a minimalistic black and white character and live-drawings of Baguio City. By pressing on the keyboard’s arrows, the adorable little Apo Lakay, who rides a wooden bike, will be your personal website guide as he takes you to Baguio City’s famous landmarks such as: the Mansion, Mt. Sto. Tomas, and Burnham Lake. It goes without saying that the school takes pride in uniquely integrating a bit of Cordilleran culture in its website. Furthermore, site is comprised of five pages: the Inquire Now, About Us, Programs, Portfolio, and Blogs and News pages.

First, the Inquire Now page asks for some personal information, details needed, and your inquiry so that the school can answer questions based on the given form.

Second, the About Us page shows reviews from animation graduates, CSDA’s vision, mission, and core values, along with a doodle of the team, the company’s background, and the fact that it is Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) registered.

Third, the Programs page contains TESDA registered programs, design and technology, and summer arts programs. With that being said, it gives a comprehensive description and clear idea of what to expect from each of the different programs offered by CSDA.

Fourth, the Portfolio page includes the icon of the Filipino annual animation festival, Animahenasyon. This page allows you to view the finished projects for Design and Technology and also the Summer Art and Animation Workshop. Charmingly enough, it features Quiddity, an animation short made by the Animation Class of 2016. And of course, if your curiosity remains unsatisfied, you can click ‘View more’ to check out the rest of their projects!

Fifth, the Blogs and News pages presents several links of blog entries and news articles about the school, its past projects, and its past events. It also includes what the school aspires to do in the future and its company partners abroad.

With the collaborative effort of Mr. Niño Seriosa (design), Mr. Jade Lamsis assisted by Mr. Alfred Lynne (web development), and Ms. Mariel Garabiles, for digital marketing, their teamwork allowed this website to come to life.
