A RETIRED member of the Philippine Army was stabbed to death by an unidentified man in Barangay 9 Poblacion, Isabela, Negros Occidental on Tuesday.
Police identified the fatality as Jojie Regla, 60.
Regla was found dead on a hammock inside his residence around 6 a.m.
Some residents complained that he was being unruly when he is drunk.
Police has no lead yet on the identities of the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, a female call center agent was stabbed by three unidentified robbers in Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Lored Cleo Pacilan, 23, of Ayungon town.
Police records showed that Pacilan was on her way to work when the robbers blocked her way and threatened her at knifepoint.
She sustained a lone stab wound in her abdomen and was rushed to a hospital.
The perpetrators carted away her cellular phone, P2,500 cash, and identification cards. (GYM)
