Capitol compound to have new bldg.

AN Agriculture-Veterinary building worth P20 million will soon rise on a 510-square-meter lot within the Capitol compound.

Last Monday, the Provincial Government held the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which will house the Provincial Agricultural and Veterinary Office.

Provincial Agriculturist Roldan Saragena said that the facilities include laboratories for both the agriculture and veterinary offices.

It will also have a conference room and storage areas for farm implements and inputs.

Gov. Hilario Davide III said they are building the structure to give the provincial agriculturist and veterinarians more working space. The Capitol is set to hold the bidding for the project any time.

The structure will be constructed near the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office inside the Capitol compound. (USJ-R Intern Angel Mae Bellita)
