The final moments of PO3 Ryan Quiamco's wife

RIZALYN, the expectant wife of PO3 Ryan Quiamco, was thinking of choosing their unborn child's godfathers minutes before they were killed in a fatal shootout with police last Tuesday.

In her social networking Facebook account, Riza, who was five months pregnant, shared an article on what traits she should consider when choosing her baby's godparents at 6:05 p.m.

"Inday, rest in peace. You still managed to post this before you were gone," a friend commented in her shared post.

PO3 Ryan was tagged by President Rodrigo Duterte as a narco-cop.

Ryan's sister Ryzelle asked for privacy and refused to comment on the death of her brother and sister-in-law.

"Please respect our family. Thank you," she said.

Regional Intelligence Division (RID) Chief Jonathan Cabal said that they welcome the probe of the Commission on Human Rights and said that the operation was legitimate.

"We are open and we respect their mandate. In fact, I insisted on the autopsy. We will cooperate with them," Cabal said.

Reports reached authorities that the police officer had been staying in his house in Talisay for a month. He was supposed to be in the holding unit of Camp Crame while undergoing investigation for his alleged involvement in the drug trade.

Based on records of the Regional Internal Affairs Services (RIAS) 7, Ryan owned a Toyota Hilux 2013, Ford Fiesta 2014, Isuzu D-Max 2014, Ford Ranger 2014, a Montero and 20 unregistered motorcycles.

RIAS 7 Chief Jose Carumba said their national headquarters will conduct a forfeiture proceeding against Ryan's assets.

Meanwhile, Cabal said that the RID is monitoring other police officers who were named by the President and yet allegedly continue their illegal drug trade.
