GoPro kiosk opens at SM City Pampanga

WHETHER you are a thrill seeker, an adventurer, or simply just someone who wants to capture meaningful experiences through the “world’s most versatile camera,” the GoPro, you now a have a go-to store to buy its newest product lines as the first GoPro kiosk opens at SM City Pampanga.

Owner Darrell Garbes, an avid GoPro user and an extreme sports hobbyist shared that he was motivated to open the said venture as he has proved GoPro’s reliability and quality.

He added that he also saw the growing number of GoPro enthusiasts in the province and that he is inspired to provide them wide range of units and accessories at reasonable price.

“I was already a GoPro user as early as GoPro 2. I saw that it’s really a great gadget which can capture everything and anything. It’s handy and versatile and it’s really a great way to capture quality action photos and priceless memories,” he said.

He noted that through the eponymous action camera and its own mobile apps and video-editing software, sharing one’s adventures to the world becomes easier.

With the newly-opened GoPro store, customers can now avail of GoPro’s latest generation units like the GoPro Hero 5, dubbed as GoPro’s best camera ever.

Garbes shared the new model combines the winning features of GoPro’s old units, but delivers an improved performance and exciting new functions.

“The GoPro Hero 5 have plenty of updated features to offer. For one, it now has a new 2-inch touchscreen display which makes it much more intuitive to use and is designed so that anyone can preview and play back shots instantly,” he noted.

“Plus they added waterproof capabilities and very helpful hands-free control using simple voice commands. This new unit has a superior core camera with a 4k resolution and the 30fps video,” he continued.

The new GoPro 5 is priced at P21,990. Currently, the GoPro kiosk offers its bundle promo: Avail of the GoPro Hero 5 Black with 1 Sandisk Memory Card Class 10 64GB, and one GoPro 3-way Grip Arm for only P29,480.

For those who want a more affordable version of the GoPro Hero 5 but with the same quality and camera capabilities, Garbes noted that the store also offers the GoPro Hero 5 session.

“This is priced at P16,490 which is a little less than the GoPro Hero 5 Black. The only difference is that it doesn’t have touchscreen display, but both units provide high-performance photos and videos. The Hero 5 will suit you best if you’re the type of user who mounts it most of the time,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, for those outdoor enthusiasts who want to capture high-angled and amazingly smooth footage in the air, handheld or mounted, the Karma drone is the right gadget for you. And it’s available at the GoPro kiosk, too.

“The Karma is the first drone by GoPro. It was released along with the Hero 5 Black and Session cameras and features a removable handheld stabilizer or gimbal integrated into the design. The smart thing about this drone is that in case it became drained while in the air, it will return to the exact spot where it took flight,” he noted.

The GoPro Karma is priced at P69,000 while its grip is available for P19,990.

Aside from the GoPro Hero5 cameras and the GoPro Karma, the GoPro kiosk also sells all the mounts and accessories you will need from hard-to-find GoPro items to the usual needs like the batteries and straps.

“We have a wide array of accessories and gears our customers can check out here in our GoPro kiosk located at the Cyberzone of SM City Pampanga, in front of Miniso. For the first few GoPro Hero 5 and Hero 5 Session buyers, we’re giving away free batteries originally priced at P1,490. Visit us and avail of this treat until until supplies last,” he said.

He disclosed that next month, he will open another GoPro kiosk at SM City Clark.
