Kekert: Celebrating Filipino: A wine-tasting event at Bibendum

WITH tastefully and accordingly prepared Filipino dishes by Cafe Laguna paired with Bibendum’s newest wine range was an evening full of delight at Bibendum Wines at Streetscape in Banilad.

The newest wine selection includes the reds—Chateau Brassac 2014, Chateau Coustat La Grangeotte 2014 and Kressmann Grande Reserve Bordeaux Rouge 2015, and whites—Cheval Noir Bordeaux Blanc 2013, Les Ormes De Cambras Chardonnay 2015 and Haussmann Chardonnay 2016. To pair with this fantastic wine range, savory dishes included Filipino favorites such as pandesal with longganisa hubad, chicken inasal Bacolod in mini skewers, kesong Puti and goats cheese with seto and roasted bell peppers, atsal and crabmeat rellenos and bulad pogapo ala bacalao, as well as Cebu’s best-loved lechon!

Bibendum utilizes refrigerated containers and climate-controlled storage facilities, including Vinocaves to ensure optimun storage and holding conditions. At Bidendum Wines, you can sample the wine prior to making a purchase using their enomatic machine, which contains eight different kinds of wine. The first taste is free.
