Akyat Bahay gang robs Air Force official's house

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Valuable items worth P.5 million were carted away by members of the "Akyat Bahay" gang who robbed the house of an Army major at Deca Clark Homes Subdivision in Barangay Margot, Angeles City.

Senior Superintendent Eden Ugale, Angeles City police director, said that Major Homer Casauy, 40, a member of Philippine Air Force assigned at Villamor Air Base in Manila together with wife left their house on June 14, 2015.

When the couple returned last Friday, they discovered that the valuable items were already missing.

The suspects entered the bedroom Casauy's daughter by destroying the window's iron grills, based on reports.

Police said the victims lost a several branded wristwatches, a Philippine Military Academy (PMA) necklace, one Ipad electronic tablet, a Ipod music gadget, and a television set. (Ric Sapnu)
