Police nab 2 brothers in Toledo City drug bust

POLICE arrested two brothers in a drug bust in Upper Sipaway, Barangay Luray 2, Toledo City, Cebu, at 12:30 a.m. Monday, August 21.

The team led by Police Superintendent Anthony Bagarinao, Toledo City Police Station chief, arrested Diosdado Regala Tagbar, 44, and Rogil, 49.

Diosdado yielded 10 small packs of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu,” cash amounting to P300 believed to be proceeds from his illegal activity and two marked bills of P100 used in drug bust.

Police allegedly recovered 10 rolled tin foil from Rogil.

The suspects will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, which prohibits the sale of shabu and possession of paraphernalia. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
