PDEA, Customs collaboration eyed in drug war

THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 is hopeful that their new head will continue the former chief’s programs against illegal drugs.

PDEA 7 Director Yogi Ruiz said that Chief Supt. Aaron Aquino, head of the Police Regional Office 3, is PDEA’s new director general.

He replaced Isidro Lapeña, who was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as the new head of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

“I believe there will be a good coordination between PDEA and BOC because there may be a tie-up in the fight against illegal drugs,” said Ruiz. (JOB)
