Man caught in dawn drug bust in Liloan, Cebu

A 22-YEAR-OLD alleged pusher was caught in a drug bust in Sitio Kalit, Barangay Jubay, Liloan, Cebu, at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, August 24.

Superintendent Melbert Glade Esguerra, the town police chief, identified the suspect as Edwin Pesa Cabrera, who yielded 20 grams of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu."

The contraband has an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P80,000.

Esguerra said Cabrera had been listed as a street-level pusher.

"Siya ang newly identified supplier sa Jubay, Liloan ug sa boundary Liloan-Compostela area," he said.

He will face complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, which prohibits selling of shabu. (KAL)
