CCPO to arrest drug suspects, criminals alive

CEBU City Police Office Director Joel Doria said his personnel prefer to catch drugs pushers and other criminals alive.

“We want to have them alive so we will know who are their cohorts,” he said.

Doria also said they do not plant evidences on their targets because they respect human rights.

During his visit in Cebu City last Wednesday, Police Director General Ronald dela Rosa told police officers to avoid planting evidences, saying it violates the rights of the suspect.

He also said it is not the right way to beef up their accomplishment reports. (KAL)
