IS IT true that Aiko Melendez and Iranian businessman ex-boyfriend Shahin Alimirzapour was involved in a bar-brawl incident in a bar in Taguig City?
Aiko admitted that there was really an untoward incident that happened in Revel at the Place, Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig City last August 20.
“Paano ba...you know kasi, he is not from showbiz. When we parted ways, nagkaroon na kami ng usapan na ayoko na siyang maging parte ng buhay ko. I’d like to keep quiet. But unfortunately, last Saturday [August 19], hindi ko alam na birthday niya...The reason why I went to that place, The Revel, was because my son [Andre] was there, with the big group. So, I saw him there. I said, ‘Hi, hello,’ ganyan-ganyan. Unfortunately, I’m with a friend na kaibigan ko lang talaga."
Aiko was referring to her friend Ken Alfonso. Ken is an actor/singer who played the role of Gamil in "Encantadia". Was she and Shahin fighting which possibly caused the commotion? Or she felt violated?
“I can’t say na I felt violated but, you know... Siya ang pumunta kasi sa amin, e, sa grupo namin. He went to our table, I said, ‘Hello, hi.’ And then, when he approached me, we were all ano... we were all, kumbaga kami, decent way on how to say hello, civil, di ba?” Tapos, kasayaw ko si Ken Alfonso, yung friend ko, he’s my friend. We were all dancing, I’m with my son…The reason why I went there, I followed late, because I wanted to pick up my son. He [Shahin] approached us and, suddenly, bigla na lang tina-trash talk niya si Ken. Ang point ko lang, sana lang respect my friends, kasi wala na naman tayo. So, I told him, ‘Shahin, stop it.’ Luckily, he listened, kaya lang natulak niya yung kaibigan ko. Sana lang next time, huwag ganun. Minsan na nga lang ako lumalabas, makikita ko na nga lang siya minsan, may ganun pa? Kailangan ko rin namang ipagtanggol si Ken. Nakakabastos yung ginawa niya dun sa kaibigan ko."
Aiko made it clear that there is nothing personal going between her and Ken, their relationship is purely friendship. “Hindi, hindi, hindi... we're really just friends.”
How did they end at the bar?
“Kasi, ang mga bouncers sa Revel are my good friends, so siyempre poprotektahan kami niyan. So, sabi ko na lang…"
Did she not greet Shahin on his birthday that night?
"Alam mo, ang puno’t dulo nga daw, sabi ng common friend namin, kasi daw hindi ko man lang siya binati nung birthday niya. Kasi nakalimutan ko sa sobrang kasabawan ko sa schedule ko, nakalimutan ko lang talaga, nagtatampo siya sa akin. Pero hindi naman magandang kapalit yung tampo is manulak siya nung kaibigan ko na wala namang kinalaman.”
As of Friday, August 25, Aiko and Shahin are not yet in good terms. As much as possible Aiko would not want to speak on the details of the said incident.
"Matagal na kaming wala. I think it’s but the best for both of us to leave me in peace. I’m at peace right now with my life. Ayoko ng controversies. Sana, he’ll stop posting sa Instagram niya…You know, I didn’t have Facebook for a long time, two days ago lang ako nagka-Facebook ulit. So, a lot of people and our common friends have been sending me what he was posting [about] me. So, sana lang huwag na magparinig, kasi it will not help any…It will not help me, it will not help him, move on na."
What's her message to her ex-boyfriend?
“I will not gonna say anything that will put him down. I’m just airing my side to apologize more on Ken. It’s because he’s nothing to do with us, he’s nothing to do with our past. I always wish Shahin the best. And I hope he does the same."

In her telling Instagram post in, August 23, the 31-year-old Hamilton star revealed that Martin's God-centered attitude was what made her fall deeply in love with him.
The photo was just a back shot of Martin taken outside New York's Music Box Theater. But she identified him by tagging his Instagram handle @spiesmj and what seemed to be their shared account's handle @marthinushin.

Rachelle Ann gave this statement four months after she first hinted about dating Martin in New York via her own Instagram posts. Aside from watching the Broadway play Get Down, the couple's first few dates included touring New York and going to church with friends.
Last June, she also posted a sweet photo with Martin, who was celebrating his 30th birthday at the time. It should be noted that Rachelle has refrained from putting out details about her beau.
But according to his LinkedIn profile, Martin is based in New York and currently works as a general manager of American luxury fitness club Equinox. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration major in Finance at the University of Florida.
Now that Rachelle's happily in love, among the first to express their excitement for her relationship status is Broadway superstar and The Voice PH's coach Lea Salonga.
