FIVE persons, including a minor, were arrested in separate police operations in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.
Yesterday, personnel of Lapu-Lapu Police Station (LPS) 3 caught Saint Alexander Dave Atienza, 22; Nico John Paul Sayson, 18; and a 16-year-old boy, who was the target of the operation.
Senior Insp. Felix Cleopas III, chief of LPS 3, said the minor and his cohort, Atienza, sold a sachet of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu to a police decoy at 2 a.m.
Sayson, who was seen buying a sachet of the same drugs from the minor, was also arrested.
Police found another seven sachets of shabu and the buy-bust money from the minor.
Last Saturday, Cleopas’ team also arrested Saiben Barbon Yahya, 36, and Karah Mae “Mika” Baguio, 25, in Sitio Sangi, Pajo at 11:20 p.m.
Cleopas said Yahya is reportedly the son of an Imam.
Authorities recovered a total of 29 sachets and a medium pack of shabu from Yahya while a sachet of the same substance was confiscated from Baguio.
All five suspects were temporarily detained at the Lapu-Lapu Police Office’s holding cell. (FMG)
