MAYOR Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar spearheaded the release of P226,500 cash assistance to victims of four separate fire incidents last month in Zamboanga City.
Salazar said 67 families received cash assistance, which was released Tuesday afternoon at City Hall. The amount of the financial aid varied depending on the damage and the ownership of the homes.
The beneficiaries consist of families from San Roque, Patalon, Tulungatung and San Jose-Cawa-Cawa.
The financial assistance is aimed to help alleviate the plight of the fire victims. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
