Police to secure Eid al-Adha observance

THE Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) will secure the Muslim community’s observance of Eid al-Adha today.

CCPO Director Joel Doria said they will field police personnel in Plaza Independencia where the activity will take place.

“We have paneling and explosive and ordnance disposal personnel to guard them until the end of their program. We will also deploy mobile patrols so that we can cover all of the area,” Doria said.

President Rodrigo Duterte declared Sept. 1 as a holiday last Tuesday through Proclamation No. 297. (JOB)
