HOMICIDE investigators of the Cebu City Police Office recovered a medium sachet of shabu from a man who was shot to death on T. Padilla St., last Friday evening.

The victim was identified as Robert Dadulo, 33, a resident of Tinago, who was killed while he was eating balut.

He was waiting for his girlfriend at the time he was killed.

“We will do a background check on the victim and we have to investigate. We are also looking into the angle that his death was drug-related,” SPO1 Winston Ybañez said in an interview with Superbalita Cebu.

Two unidentified assailants on board a motorcycle approached Dadulo and started shooting at him at 11:30 p.m.

The victim succumbed to several gunshot wounds.

Ybañez said that prior to the shooting, the victim already noticed that another motorcycle was tailing him.

“It’s possible that the gunmen were following him,” Ybañez said.

Police recovered seven empty shells of caliber 9mm, a medium sachet of shabu placed inside a wet wipes pouch, cash and documents. (JOB)
