NO EXPENSE was spared for Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho's wedding in Paris, France.
From the welcome dinner cruise along Seine River, to the wedding ceremony at the American Church in downtown Paris followed by the reception at Palais Garnier, the weekend event in the French capital screams glitz and glamour.
Belo, the go-to dermatologist to the stars, wore a couture wedding gown by Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco while Kho donned a bespoke black tuxedo.
The couple barred their 200 plus guests from using their smartphones during the wedding ceremony.
The festivities followed at the opulent Palais Garnier the 1,979-seater opera house located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. The venue which was built in 1981 as the house of the Paris Opera, is one of the iconic symbols of Paris like Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre, Sacre Coeur and the famous Eiffel Tower.
Guests dined at palais Garnier's grand foyer which featured the hand painted ceiling by French artist Paul Jacques Baudry and also got a glimpse inside the auditorium.
Kho and Belo meanwhile took their first dance on the landing of the opera's grand staircase to the delight of the attendees.
The two also instructed their guests to come in black or white ensemble to keep up with the beauty and grandeur of the venue.
Among those who attended the wedding of the year are Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, Pops Fernandez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado, Derek Ramsay, Jinkee Pacquiao, Rhian Ramos, Lovi Poe, Alden Richards and Piolo Pascual.
