THE Boxing Revolution 3: No Guts No Glory, which pits former International Boxing Organization (IBO) superflyweight champion Edrin "The Sting" Dapudong against former Pan Asia Boxing Association (Paba) flyweight champ Richard Garcia in the main event bout, will hold its official weigh-in at 10 a.m. Friday at NCCC Mall Davao activity center.

Joining them are Lorenzo "Thunderbolt" Villanueva and Rey Las Peñas, who are set to square off in their junior lightweight co-main event bout, and Rolando Magbanua and Jimmy Aducal who will slug it out in junior featherweight on Friday evening at the Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center.

Also tipping the scales are Jose Ocampo and Jaime Barcelona in junior lightweight; Roseskie Cristobal and JR Mendoza in lightweight; Virgil Deguma and Fredendela Cruz in bantamweight; Arnold Garde and Johnny Belo in mini-flyweight; Alvin Lagumbay and Joe Tejones in junior lightweight; and Gerald Alvares and Prince Canonero in mini flyweight.

Dapudong, in a recent interview, said he is poised to win his bout against Garcia to increase his chances of arranging a rematch against Hernan "Tyson" Marquez who defeated him in their World Boxing Association (WBA) flyweight title bout in Mexico in 2011.

Meanwhile, Villanueva, a knockout artist who holds 24 KO's out of his 28-1 win-loss record, will implement a different game plan as he looks to time clean punches rather than engaging in a brawl.

The proceeds of event organized by the Sonshine Sports Management Inc. will be for the scholarship program of the Jose Maria College.

Ticket prices are pegged P1,500 for the red carpet, P1,000 for the lower box, P300 for the lower general admission seats and P200 for the upper general admission seats.

Ticket outlets are at Toby's Sports Arena at the second floor of the Abreeza Ayala Mall, Marianos Sports Market in Victoria Plaza and at the Holiday Gym and Spa in Torres St.
