8 persons nabbed in San Fernando, Cebu drug bust

EIGHT suspected pushers were caught in a drug bust at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, in Barangay Greenhills, San Fernando town, Cebu.

Seized from the suspects was 0.49 gram of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu."

The contraband is worth P5,782, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

Arrested suspects are Tate Chuck Omega Malate, James Marvin Marilao, Kim Caparida Malate, Angelita Nebreja Estrera, Galileo Gedaro Genayas, Crispen Ybañez Calago, Arnel Bolo Lisondra, and Reymundo Bolo Relado.

Suspects will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (KAL)
