9th Dog Congress set on October 7

SOME 100 participants are expected in the 9th Dog Congress Heroes Carnival set on October 7 at the NCCC Mall Davao Kadayawan Hall.

Hardware Maxx marketing specialist Christopher Cua said the annual activity dubbed as "Not All Heroes Wear Capes, Some Have Four Legs and a Tail" is a way to honor all hero dogs as well as to promote NCCC's new Maxx's Pet Bowtique and Pawlor that will open earlier this year.

"We have added specialized services so as to attract more dog lovers to join," Cua said, including anti-rabies vaccination, check-up, consultation, dog food sampling from GoodBoy, Pedegree, Vitality, PetOne and Eukanoba, and pet blessing on that services in the jam-packed half day congress.

Cua also said that the annual congress is open to all pet lovers who would want to pamper their furry friend.

There will also be raffle draw, free ice cream and popcorn for dog owners, face painting, and photo booth.

Among the highlights of the activities are a puppy class, dog show and different games including darts, marble drop, roleta, shoot that ball, shoot that ring, wire loop, coin toss and shooting range.

Special awards will be given to participants with most amazing superhero costume, best partnership, most striking persona, smoothest and shiniest hair, smallest and biggest size, friendliest dog, most behaved, handler with most number of dogs and a Hardwaremaxx Choice Award.

Dog owners may avail of all freebies for only P250.

Registration is ongoing at all NCCC Hardwaremaxx.
