Father, son steal motorcycle, nabbed

A MAN and his teenage son were arrested in an entrapment operation at Purok Villa Lourdes, Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City Thursday afternoon, September 7, for stealing a motorcycle.

Suspects Roy Golez and his 15-year-old son were jointly apprehended by operatives of Police Station 4, 8 and 9.

On September 6, Noriel Bermudez Jr., 36, of Barangay Estefania reported that his motorcycle parked in front of an eatery on Malaspina-Molave Streets in Barangay Villamonte around 8:30 p.m. was stolen by an unidentified robber.

The apprehension of the suspects came after Chief Inspector Ritchie Gohee, head of Police Station 4, received information about them selling a motorcycle to a shop owner in the said village.

Both suspects also yielded two sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride).

They were detained at Police Station 8.
