22 minors rounded up for curfew violation

TWENTY-two minors were rescued during the implementation of the curfew ordinance in eight barangays in Liloan town last Saturday evening.

Liloan police together with social workers and barangay officials conducted simultaneous patrols in Barangays Poblacion, Yati, San Vicente, Cotcot, Jubay, Catarman, Calero and Tayud.

The minors were found inside internet cafes instead of being at home at 10 p.m. The minors were brought to the police stations and briefed by social workers before they were turned over to their parents. (JOB)
