ORGANIC beauty enthusiasts in the city can now find a home in the newly-renovated and relocated Beaufairy Organic Skin Care and Gluta Lounge at the heart of the metro.
Beaufairy Organic Skin Care and Gluta Lounge was inaugurated on September 15 headed by its owner April Faye Baltazar, some members of her family, and her loyal customers.
For six years, the skin care shop has been a favorite of many Filipinas, outside and inside Davao City, for its promising skin care products carefully crafted to suit the needs of different skin types.
"We started selling online last 2011 but I sourced our products from various companies and received many negative feedbacks due to skin reactions. So I have decided on why not create a formula on my own," she said.
In 2012, the shop collaborated with a famous skin care laboratory in Manila and granted them botanically-made products at an affordable price.
The first shop, Beaufairy Skin Essential, was created inside Baltazar's office in Obrero Street, Davao City with two-bed booths for facial treatments where she also sells all skin care products.
"We started to offer various facial treatments due to the demands of most of our customers so we gathered skilled employees and trained them in Manila," Baltazar said.
The shop also developed a website in early 2016 to introduce the products to a wide range of possible customers where they can order and have the products shipped.
With the increasing number of customers, she said Beaufairy saw the need to expand to cater to more interested customers.
On its new location along J.P Laurel Street, Bajada in front of Victoria Plaza, Beaufairy has now five treatment booths where skin treatments are being done.
As for their best-sellers, Baltazar said Beaufairy takes much pride with its revitalizing set composed of micro-peeling soaps, toner, masks, and cream, which are good for those who have uneven skin tones. The set will have a noticeable effect after two weeks of use.
They also have the beauty-booster set which provides anti-aging effects due to snail filtrates and apple extracts.
"We also offer glutathione-dripping sessions that range from P3,000 to P17,000 per 10 sessions depending on the packages," she said.
What separates Beaufairy from other skin care shops in the city is its organic method of skin care and affordability.
"Most of our clients are college students and young professionals," she said.
Beaufairy will soon be offering organic nail services and products as well as other cosmetic products such as CC creams and lipsticks as soon as they find a trusted supplier.
