BOXERS from Ten Thousand Boxing Club (TTBC)and Naga Boxing Club will make their debut in the resumption of the Cebu Amateur Boxing Revival (CABR) at the Plaza Sugbu this afternoon.
Twelve matches-- including three bouts for the Ten Thousand BC and one for Naga Boxing Cub--will take the center stage in the third event of the CABR, which is a joint project of Amateur Boxing Alliances of the Philippines (Abap-7), Philippine Sports Commission coordinator Lorenzo “Chao” Sy and Cebu boxing godfather Antonio L. Aldeguer to help develop the local fighters.
Ten Thousand BC’s Wyn Cabradilla will fight Emmanuel Galo of the A Gym in the Novice category; John Paul Gabunillas will trade punches with Jeffrey Jimenez of the Cebu City Sports Center Boxing Gym in the 46-kilo division and Mardy Cardeño will fight Benny Cañete of the A Gym in the 52-kilo class.
