Date with lolo and lola

I HAVE fond memories of my lola back then; however, I was not too old enough to give her big treats or stroll with her at the mall, but my constant hug and kisses were enough for her. I am totally envious of grandchildren having to celebrate Grandparents Day at the mall, with both grandparents and grandkids spending time together and enjoying the string line of fun-filled activities that would make our beloved senior feel happy.

SM City Davao recognized that meaningful bond between grandparents and grandchildren during the nationwide Grandparents' Day celebration last September 10, 2017, at the Annex Event Center.

SM invited grandparents over for the sharpie DIY painted mugs, a fun craft activity to create a unique keepsake or a special gift, and the seniors had fun completing the craft project and have a wonderful memento of the fun time they had together.

Everyone was gushing about how memorable the celebration as they saw a live caricaturist at work while they drew the guest in real time.

The Music Authority Band regale lolos and lolas with its lively '60 and 70s repertoire of Beatles, Dionne Warwick to Manila Sound serenade the senior SM shoppers with oldies but goodies tracks that make them reminisce about the good old times but also introduce the timeless music to their grandkids.

In this celebration, SM promotes new and fun family bonding, as well as enables customers of all ages to create memorable, family-first moments for everyone to enjoy and cherish in the years to come.
