MAYOR Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar has ordered to unmask the people behind the Z3R house for sale post in the social media that has become viral and trending.
Z3R stands for Zamboanga City Roadmap to Recovery and Reconstruction, which is the government’s blueprint for the families displaced in the 2013 siege.
Salazar issued the order to the Z3R Focal Team and City Housing and Land Management Division (CHLMD) after a certain Roxanne Rojo Pedro created a post on social media on Tuesday morning advertising a house and lot for rush sale.
The price tag for the “concrete house” with an area of 60 square meters is P350,000. Pedro also posted her contact details.
Initial investigation showed the house is owned by Emilyn Sagadsad Abucay and is located at Block 10, lot 13 at the Paniran Resettlement Site.
Since it is located in a resettlement site managed by the city government, the owner is paying monthly amortization and has a balance of P59,405.10.
Salazar said the Z3R Focal Team and CHLMD have been tasked to undertake appropriate measures against those involved as provided for under the law if the investigation will yield positive result.
The housing unit should be retrieved or repossessed by the government since the occupant are not allowed to sell the house build through the Z3R and awarded to the siege-affected families. (Bong Garcia)
