THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued on Friday, September 29, a thunderstorm advisory over Cebu and parts of Luzon.
The weather bureau issued the advisory 10:22 a.m. over areas in Cebu: Lapu-Lapu City, Cordova, Cebu City, Talisay City, Mandaue City, Consolacion, Liloan, San Francisco, Tudela, Poro, Pilar, and nearby areas.
Also areas in Luzon: Pampanga; Tarlac; Nueva Ecija - Natividad, Gabaldon, Bitulok, Gen. Tinio; Quezon - Infanta, GenNakar, Real, Alabat, Quezon, Perez.
Pagasa said the thunderstorm may persist for one to two hours.
The weather bureau said residents are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flashfloods and landslides. (SunStar Philippines)
