“It houses 15 cacao players in Davao City,” sulti ni Dar Mendoza, manager sa Cacao City.

“We envision that this is the venue for the buyers and suppliers together. This is a venue where we can help more SMEs and more small farmers get into cacao farming and cacao processing," sulti sa mayor.

Dugang sa pag-abli sa maong tindahan, naglaum ang mga Dabawenyo nga matawag na nga “Cacao Capital of the Philippines” ang dakbayan samtang padayong gihulat ang endorsement sa national government agency.
Nasayran nga bulan pa sa Hunyo ning tuiga, giproseso ang maong endorsement ug gihulat kini sa Philippine Cacao Industry Development Council (PCIDC) human kini naaprubahan sa Regional Development Council-Davao Region ang maong resolution.
“In terms of chocolate, aside from our international awardees, our estimate is that the number of our chocolate makers in Davao City has already reached 100. We are optimistic that whichever agency will declare, they will give due recognition to Davao as the cacao and chocolate capital,” sulti ni PCIDC president Valente Turtur.
