UC grads dominate Naval Architect, Marine Engineer board exam

THE topnotchers in the October 2017 Naval Architect and Marine Engineer board exam are all from the University of Cebu-Main Campus.

The exam result was released by Professional Regulation Commission on Monday, October 9.

Jayvie Albarando ranked first with 89.80 percent, followed by Randolph Tabernero with 89.60 percent.

Reanne Mangubat and Lyndon Hanz Pernites ranked third with 89.40 percent rating.

Vince Alex Villahermosa grabbed the fourth spot with 89 percent; Lendon Arcillas came in fifth with 88.80 percent; Jochelle Potot Tumulak followed in the sixth spot with 88.50 percent.

Brylle Larida Enad ranked seventh with 87.20 percent; KC Rare Emnace ranked eight with 86.90 percent, and Christakhis Niño Nodalo is at the ninth spot with 86.50 percent.

Kit Boniefel Bontor and Charisse Ivy Condrillon Talle placed 10th with 85.90 percent.

Candice Gotianuy, UC Chancellor, told SunStar Cebu she was surprised when she heard the news.

“Just saw it. Oh my God! This is fantastic! I can’t believe it,” Gotianuy said.

Gotianuy said that the university’s administration will provide cash incentives to all the topnotchers.

Fifty-one out of 117 applicants passed the licensure exam.
