DOGS wearing their best and cutest hero costumes together with their owners in an afternoon of fun games and surprises - this summarizes my most awaited congress of the year.
Now on its 9th year, NCCC Hardware Maxx's Dog Congress 2017 with the theme "Heroes Carnival," was held last Saturday October 7 at the mall's Kadayawan Hall.
Unlike last year, the 2017 Dog Congress still continued the fun with games and exciting prizes but with a more festive and chill vibe which allowed all the dogs and their owners to interact and socialize with each other.
Special awardees for the congress include Best Superhero won by Gifa and owner Heidi Hernandez, Best Team Up won by Sophie and owner Charles, AgawEksena awards won by Angelique and owner Princess Buendia, Most Shiny Hair won by Elsa and owner VeljeanVillaraiz, Smallest Dog won by Brvino and owner Acer Oraiz, Biggest Dog won by Sigbin and owner Hill Sason, Most Friendly won by Max and owner, Hill Sason, Handler of the day won by Erlen who brought three dogs namely Kenzo, Kisha and Tisay. Lastly, the Maxxdog Choice Award was given to Zorro and owner Vic Jao.
Other than the annual pet blessing and dog show, a puppy class was also held during the event. The doggos were also treated to a bag of goodies, free check-up and consultation, dog food sampling, anti-rabies vaccination, Maxx's Pet and Pawsome booth access, free ice cream and pop corn for owners, and a photo opt.
Moreover, October being the celebration month of the Dog Congress also marks the first year of NCCC Mall opening their doors for pet dogs and cats inside the mall premises.
