Motorcycle rider hit by funeral car

A MOTORCYCLE rider was injured after he was hit by a funeral car around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, on the national highway of Purok Eucalyptus, Barangay Calumangan in Bago City, Negros Occidental.

Wounded was Rogelio Montealegre, 55, of the said village.

Police records showed the funeral car driven by Francisco Chavez of Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City was tailing Montealegre’s motorcycle which swerved.

The funeral car sideswiped the motorcycle.

Chavez was on his way to Bacolod City from Hinigaran town.

Montealegre sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital while Chavez was unharmed. (GYM)
