A 67-YEAR-OLD businessman died after he was shot in Sitio Malingin, Barangay Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City past 6 a.m. last Saturday.
Police identified the victim as Genaro Mahusay, owner of a shellcraft store.
Investigation showed that the victim was walking toward his house when he was shot.
Mahusay succumbed to five gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
The motive behind the murder is still being investigated. No one in the neighborhood knew the gunman. (KAL)
