SLDC launches Plantation Residences

SANTOS Land Development Corporation (SLDC) has expanded its presence beyond Davao City as it launches on October 10, 2017 its first out-of-town residential subdivision in Makilala, North Cotabato: the Plantation Residences.

The project will rise within a 19-hectare property, which will be divided into two components, the nine-hectare subdivision and the 10-hectare commercial component.

“To date, the land development of Makilala project is 100 percent complete and the construction of 21 housing units is in progress of which 6 units were already sold,” SLDC President Antonio Nicolas Domingo said.

For its first component, Amado Veneracion Santos, director of SLDC said that the market in Makilala responded positively as it is among the big projects in the municipality.

He emphasized that they chose to invest in Makilala as it is fast becoming the melting pot of people from the cities of Kidapawan and Cotabato. Santos added that the Plantation Residences primarily targets middle class to first class market.

SLDC sales and marketing manager Estella Aguilos, for her part, said that houses available are those with three bedrooms with one comfort room; three bedrooms with one CR; two-storey house with two bedrooms in the ground floor with one bedroom on the top floor; and there is also two-storey with two bedrooms and one comfort room.

Makilala Mayor Rudy S. Caoagdan underscored in his speech during the launching ceremony that the entry of SLDC in the municipality is a welcome development.

The multi-million project, he said, paves way to more business opportunities in Makilala town.

The project is one of the company’s numerous development projects in Mindanao and is considered as one of the milestone projects in time for the 46th founding anniversary of SLDC.
