TWO men on a motorcycle were killed after hitting a truck parked beside the road in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental Monday night, October 16.
Police identified the fatalities as driver Dinnes Flores, 32, of Barangay 2, Bacolod City; and friend Harold Malihok, 33, of Barangay Caduha-an, Cadiz City.
Investigation showed that both victims were on their way to work around 7 p.m. when they hit the truck driven by Romulo Rebala Jr., 39, of Barangay San Fernando, Talisay City.
The truck has no early warning device that may indicate that the vehicle was under repair.
Both victims were reportedly drunk and were speeding, and were not wearing helmets. (GYM)
