AUTHORITIES searched the jails of Cebu City and Talisay for contraband, including illegal drugs, on Friday morning, October 20.

The latest greyhound operations were led by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Visayas and police.

Around 5 a.m., the law enforcers searched Cebu City Jail in Barangay Kalunasan.

They seized a tooter, drug paraphernalia, and few sharp objects. A cell phone charger was also found.

Two hours later, authorities searched Talisay City Jail in Barangay Maghaway, but no illegal drugs or other contraband were found in the facility. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
