Aron matuman kini, kinahanglang mapapha ang kasamtangang sports organizations sama sa Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (Fessap), Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa), State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (Scuaa) ug University Games.

“There were about 90 percent of the athletic associations and private universities who attended the two-day forum. And they are all open to forming one national federation, holding a national tournament and sending athletes to international competitions,” matod ni PSC Commissioner Ramon Fernandez.

Apan kon dayunon sa PSC ang pagtukod og national collegiate athletic federation, gilaumang makasugat kini og hugot nga pagsupak.

“Fessap has been doing national competitions and sending athletes to international tournaments. We have already sent teams to four Summer Universiade – Shenzhen-China in 2011, Kazan-Russia in 2013, Guangju-South Korea in 2015 and Taipei in 2017 without government support or funding. It also gave provincial athletes a chance to compete in international competitions. And Fessap is a recognized member of Fisu. I said that at the forum,” pasabot ni Fessap representative ug Cebuano lawyer Baldomero Estenzo. (RCM, ESL)
