TWO women were killed in separate incidents in Alcantara and Danao City last Sunday.
At 2:30 p.m., Manuela Castillo Villaces, 63, was allegedly stabbed dead by Arnel Nimeaga, a 43-year-old widower who is the live-in partner of the victim’s daughter, in Sitio Tawig, Barangay Palanas, Alcantara.
Nimeaga, who escaped arrest, was allegedly mad at Villaces, who had disapproved of his relationship with her daughter.
Five hours later, Alberta Molina was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in Danao City.
She was hit in the head.
The motive is unknown. (KAL)
