FIVE persons, including two minors, were arrested for allegedly stealing 19 chickens in San Jose, Borbon, Cebu last Monday night.
The adult suspects were Richard dela Peña, 20; Armando Viñalon, 30; and Joseph Magdadaro, 27. The minors were boys aged 17.
The culprits took the chickens from their owner, Roquillo Balaod, last Oct. 3.
The minors were turned over to the local social welfare office for assessment.
They will be charged if the social welfare officer will issue a certification that they acted with discernment.
The three other suspects will be charged with theft. (KAL)
