AFTER a rigid and vigorous training, a group of four guys and a strong-minded woman, who proudly call themselves Team Talisay City, will hit the road in the first Cebu City Marathon on Jan. 10.
The team will be bannered by Dennis Prajes and Paul Gambong, who joined the 2009 Standard Chartered Marathon in Hong Kong.
Also in the squad are Ricarlito Catacutan and Al Abais, who are equipped with proper training and are also active participants in fun runs.
The lone woman is Tarah Anne Virtucio a beginner in the field, but owns a positive attitude. With daily practice at the SRP, a weekly uphill run covering 26 kilometers from Talisay City to Naga City, Team Talisay City expects to hit its mark in the marathon.
