Business permits renewal until January 20

ILOILO CITY - More than 12,000 operating businesses are enjoined to avail of the renewal services at the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) until January 20.

Mayor Jerry P. Treñas said that the annual renewal of business permits will undergo easy processing through the computerization. Business clients will only have to wait for few minutes to get their business permits, he added.

He said that the business permit applicants must complete the documents required. No more deadline extension will be given, Treñas said.

Offices of the city treasurer, assessor and budget are currently computerized for easy access and monitoring of business permits and licenses.

The Department of Finance cited the city last year for its computerization program particularly in business permits and licensing services.

Treñas reiterated that the businessmen must avail of the services until January 20 only to avoid penalties and surcharges including congestion in the processing and payment of permits.

Meanwhile, the Permits and Licensing division and the CTO is open for new business permits processing throughout the year.
