EVERY year Rotarians from the Rotary Club of West Cagayan de Oro and the Anns of the Inner Wheel Club gather to party and celebrate Christmas. It is also a time for thanksgiving for all the successful and worthy projects undertaken during the first six months of the Rotary calendar year which starts every July 1st. President Al Brito must be feeling upbeat now that he has successfully completed half or if not most of the community projects lined up for his term.
To make the celebration more meaningful, organizers led by president-elect Edong Espiritu opted for a White Christmas Ball motif. Members came in white, some have strutted their beautiful attires for the best in white attire award. There was dancing, singing, exchanging gifts and games. Of course, there was endless talking and laughter as good food and red wine abound.
After the fun and the short Christmas break, it was back to community work as President Al tendered a party and gift giving activity for our less privileged brethren on New Year's day at Zone 8 in Bulua this city.
