GIBASURA sa Office of the Ombudsman sa kaulohan ang mga reklamong kriminal ug administratiba nga gipasaka ni suspended Dumanjug Mayor Nelson Garcia batok sa mga miyembro sa committee on complaints and investigation sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan sa Sugbo.
Sa resolution ni Gil Rose Corcino-Inovejas, graft investigation and prosecution officer I nga giaprobahan ni Deputy Ombudsman for the Military & Other Law Enforcement Offices Cyril Ramos, kini nibasura sa mga reklamong kalapasan sa Republic Act 6713 kun Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees ug R.A. 3019 Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act nga giduso sa mayor.
Nalatid sa resolution nga kuwang sa mga elemento ang reklamo ni Garcia nga magmatuod nga nakalapas ang gipangreklamo nga mga provincial board members sa RA 3019 samtang kuwang usab og merito ang reklamong administratiba nga gipasaka sa mayor.
Ang resolusyon pirmado ni Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales.
Ang mayor nipasangil nga dili patas ang mga miyembro sa komite pag-imbestigar sa iyang kaso tungod kay giingong gipaboran niini ang iyang kaatbang nga si Dumanjug Vice Mayor Efren Guntrano Gica.
Ang iyang gipangreklamo mao sila si PB Members Arleigh Jay Sitoy, chairman sa naasoy nga komite; Grecilda Sanchez; Raul Alcoseba; Peter John Calderon; Christopher Baricuatro; ug Miguel Antonio Magpale.
Si Garcia gipaubos og imbestigasyon sa committee on complaints and investigation, human si Gica niduso og reklamong administratiba labot sa pagtudlo sa mayor og kalihim sa municipal council.
Ang resolusyon nagpasabot nga napakyas ang mayor pagmatuod nga nagkunsabo ang mga bokal aron paboran si Gica, ang nilingkod nga acting mayor sa Dumanjug karon.
Ikaduha, wa mohangyo ang mayor sa mga bokal nga mandoan si Gica nga tubagon ang reklamo sa reklamante.
“Lastly, there is no evidence that respondents acted for the purpose of obtaining some pecuniary or material benefit or discriminating against complainant,” tipik sa resolution.
