THE 59th BKCC-DCSC edition under 16 years old and below tournament, the first in 2010, will unfold on January 30 at 10 a.m. at the Blue Knight Chess Club, Bonifacio St.
BKCC director Ronnie Tabudlong said the one-day event is a five-round Swiss System format tournament where each player has alloted time of 30 minutes.
The champion will receive a trophy while instructional chess DVDs will go to the second and third placers of the meet supported by the Davao City Sports Council, Inc. under its president Councilor Peter Laviña.
Registration for members is P50 while non-member can sign up for a fee of P40.
