JOEL Pamaran and Baby Plata clinched titles in their respective divisions at the close of the Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) Bowler of the Month finals at the Fairlanes Bowling Center on Sunday evening.
Pamaran emerged champion in class B after rolling a total of 237 pins in two games, beating Vic Pusod and Madz Lauro who occupied the next two spots. Pusod scored 237, while Lauro garnered 232.
Plata, meanwhile, seized the ladies title as she outclassed Che-Che Payca who placed second and Ely Mursua who finished third. Plata hit 231 pinfalls, besting Payca's 227 and Mursua's 227.
Peddy Enriquez also shared the limelight by ruling class C at the expense of Titing Banluta and Alex Racho. Enriquez made 232 pinfalls as against Banluta's 229 and Racho's 221 who wounded up second and third, respectively.
Cash prizes, trophies and shirts were awarded to the winners. (RSA)
