Benguet State U recognizes partners

THE Benguet State University has honored its partners in the community.

The school presented plaques of recognition to organizations who have contributed to its development during the celebration of its 99th Foundation Day on Monday.

BSU thanked the Department of Agriculture–Agricultural Training Institute, the La Trinidad Municipal School Board, Basil Barangay in Tublay town, Lepanto Mining Corporation, LEADS Agricultural Products Corporation, Allied Botanical Corporation and the Rotary Club of Baguio.

The university also recognized its outstanding students, employees and retirees.

Two Benguet State University graduates were among the topnotchers in the last nursing board exams: Keren Joy Tuban Compelio, who placed sixth with an average of 84.80, and Rencel Finnos Valdez Sabog, the eighth placer with an average of 84.40.

BSU also ranks sixth among the 113 state universities and colleges in the country in terms of registered programs. Maria Elena Catajan
