Is Sarah happy?

I THOUGHT that the Cebeco II Blue Knights got the support of the Cebu Electric Cooperative consumers, but obviously, it did not. Well...

My bet was the JulRhea duo, which I think is very inspiring because Julius, who is wheelchair-bound, did not allow his disability to curb his artistry.

However, the televiewers favored single mother Kristel de Catalina, who received P2 million for the feat on “Pilipinas Got Talent.” Congratulations!

The breakdown incident of Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo in her “This 15 Me” concert in Las Vegas brought to mind the presscon that was held in Cebu, more or less, five years ago.

In that presscon, I asked her if she did not feel deprived of the simple joys of a young woman of her age including that of having a lov elife.

She demurely answered with that “trademark” smile of hers: “Hindi naman po. Masaya naman po ako (Not really. I’m happy).” However, I had this feeling that in her desire to please her parents, her fans and everyone else, she played it safe.

I hope Sarah will find that thing that will fill the emptiness she said she’s feeling and that she’ll find the loving support that doesn’t change in Matteo Guidicelli.
