The food festival, which began on May 3, is in time for SM City Davao’s 3-Day Sale from May 4 to 6, 2018, where shoppers can expect discounts of up to 70 percent.

Being naïve to this kind of affair, we expected that it will be fun and exciting. We indulged ourselves into an atmosphere that must be visited by everyone as soon as possible. That, a simple carnival-themed event is not just a 3-day sale but a celebration of how SM City Davao values their shoppers as well as their tenants and personnel making them the best place to make memories with.
This is not only for the satisfaction of the customers but also for the satisfaction of the growing local businesses in the city.
“The story behind this all [food fair] is that we wanted to support local independent businesses by letting them try this kind of exhibit, existing tenants that we have like the Cacao de Davao, they all started from this,” said Dalaza.
Participating stalls in the carnival food fair were the Lara Mia, Gelato on the Road, K Cotton Fries, Cohfey & Co., Johann Coffee Truck, Melt & Co., Citrus Squeezed, Street Taco, Yohzaphie Corn Corner, Gypsy Café & Bistro, Takoen, HK Bakery and Tea, Chill ‘n Myyo, Sweets of Tirzha, Maxi Mango, and Calle Verde.
Mall-goers will be treated to games where they can win amazing prices. Kids were also entertained by the activities the mall has prepared like face-painting, balloon twists show, bubble show, and ascots.
Along with the fun they have prepared for mall-goers, SM City Davao held a Prestige Sale yesterday, May 4.
Today, May 5, the mall will be open at 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. to cater shoppers with their Max Sale wherein an extra 10% discount will be given for all SM advantage card holders.
Tomorrow will be their Final-Hour Max Special Sale, during the mall’s last hours, you can get a 10% discount from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will also be performances from local talents that will take the atrium stage with their exciting performance inspired from “The Greatest Showman”.
