MANILA -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo arrived at the Heritage Park past 4 a.m. Wednesday to pay her respect to the late Press Secretary Cerge Remonde.
The remains of Remonde will be brought to Malacanang tomorrow, Thursday, before it will be flown to his home province Cebu on Friday. He will be laid to rest Sunday in Argao, Cebu.
Remonde died before noon Tuesday due to cardiac arrest. He was survived by his wife Marit.
