THE Commission on Elections reminded candidates of the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections to refrain from using superheroes and movie characters in their campaign posters.
Cebu Provincial Election Supervisor Lionel Marco Castillano said candidates might face copyright infringement suits, he said, adding that using images of superheroes and film stars without consent from their original owners constitutes copyright infringement. (JKV)
