Negrense nurses may avail themselves of language training in Japan

NEGRENSE nurses who are residents of the 31 towns and cities of Negros Occidental may avail of a study-now-pay-later Japanese language program and undergo vocational caregiving training for three years and three months in Japan starting January 2019.

A four-month Japanese language training will be conducted at Oisca Bago Training Center as part of the assessment and screening process prior to the final selection by the Japanese teachers.

Negros Occidental Scholarship Program head Karen Dinsay said nurses who are interested to study in Japan should be 22 to 29 years old and single.

The nurses who will pass the selection process will be given the scholarship to study at Houshin School of Healthcare and will be allowed to work part-time as a caregiver in a nursing home facility.
